The Girls’ School – Jabal Amman achieved first place at the 3rd Specialized National Environmental Conference, held at the National Library with the participation of 25 schools from across the Kingdom.
This achievement came as a result of the environmental research presented by 10th-grade students Lynn Tweer, Alma Mustafa, and Natali Dabboubi, under the theme “The Impact of Plastic Bottles on the Environment and Climate Change (PET)”.
The conference was held under the patronage of Mr. Samih Al-Maaytah, Chairman of Al-Rai Press Foundation and Honorary President of the Jordanian Environment Society, and included a distinguished panel of experts, judges, researchers, and environmental stakeholders from various national institutions, aiming to raise environmental awareness and promote initiatives that contribute to environmental protection and biodiversity preservation.
This accomplishment reflects the high level of environmental awareness among the school’s students and highlights the role of educational institutions in supporting purposeful scientific research and fostering a culture of sustainability.
